Cortland Business Network

The Cortland Business Network (CBN) is an alliance of Cortland County's largest employers, small businesses, higher education and economic development representatives. The alliance's mission is to act as a catalyst to develop a progressive business environment by implementing creative solutions that promote cultural and economic growth.

The CBN supports ongoing efforts by the Cortland County BDC-IDA in promoting economic growth in the community. The Cortland County BDC-IDA provides administrative staff support to the organization.

The CBN represents more than 5,000 jobs in the county, with a combined payroll of $200 million and collectively over 750 years of business operations.

The group uses the strength of its combined resources to create an economic environment that will benefit all who live in the county and the surrounding areas. Collectively, CBN has invested more than $225 million in recent years in Cortland County, through private sector investments and company expansions.
